Tim Holtz strikes again

this was the first time I used one of Tim's masks....why oh why did I wait so long....
too much fun
also grunge paper with printed paper adhered to it. I used "dictionary" paper and "aged" it ...used the words so that the centers of the flowers and the leaves are part of the journaling.
alcohol inks on the back of clear letters then wrote on the T I M E to make the "headline"
lots of inking, walnut ink, and..............in the booklet are pictures that M did NOT want in the album.....
the tabs of the booklet are made of leftover pictures ....they spell out C O L D which is about M and swimming in a glacier fed lake :)

clue #3

I found the idea in one of our favorite stamp catalogs

feeble attempt

sometimes I dream bigger than I can do......
so instead of trying to compete with all the grandeur of Glacier park.....I went simple. additional pictures and journaling will be on a disc with the album
I would like to be able to dye cloth like Katrina when I see things like these signs.....

clue #2
simpler to fold than last class

back to flowers

I totally scraplifted this .....got it out of an old...like by three years.....magazine....
I just got the stamps from Christina.....I have been doodling alot since then...
So what if the magazine is old and the stamps are retired.........
I JUST GOT INTO FLOWERS......

and for those who are thinking about doing the September class....
On the 25th at Memories and More........
well I will be DROPPING clues
throughout the month.....

clue # 1 it involves a box.....
(you don't have to get into it or out of it)

Nature

the journaling for this one is behind the big photo.
I used the butterflies as hinges, I put a strip of plastic behind each one so they will not tear. For an instant sort of fix it thought it seems to be working really good..... I am trying to NOT use the new butterfly punch on EVERYTHING....but it is the one from SU and it is cool! I punched out butterflies from the SU medallion stamp.....and the green butterfly is actually punched in the base paper and then I embossed some thin plastic and put it under the base and then put some of the green paper under that!!! In real life it has alot of depth.
